You know, since I actually have a trans, autistic sister (and an autistic brother) I took your question as being asked in good faith—even though I’ve never known legitimately autistic people to go around saying “I’m autistic” before everything.
But this interaction speaks to the issue presented in the article. I’ve gone to pro-trans protests, I’ve defended trans people in my daily life, I love and fully accept the actual trans people that I know, and I go out of my way to support pro-trans policies and candidates, but I’m getting lectured for what comedian I listen to for an hour once a year.
Assuming you’re American, there’s an election coming: The seat of every rep is up for grabs, 1/3 of the senate, and the presidency. Yet, you’re over here, arguing with an ally for not being an ally enough (in his personal, recreational time), instead of trying to make any actual change in the world.
You say you don’t get the jokes, but I’m sure you can see why I find this laughable.
