Wow, this is a hard one. I’d choose 5 years passed everyday, except I’d be concerned about the death of everyone I love in 20 days. It really comes down to two different versions of immortality (or near immortality) for me. Do I want to live forever for the sake of preservation of experience and life or for the sake of encountering the endless stream of newness before us? For me, the appeal of immortality is based on curiosity, but if there’s no way around the death of my friends and loved ones, I‘s likely put that aside and cherish the moment.
