When I look back on what women have put up with from me, I just try to self-evaluate and do better. Also, I try to make a point of asking for feedback and bringing up points of potential unfairness—even when they’re unfair in my favor.

Can’t say I have all the answers, and I’m still a pain in the ass sometimes, but I think I’ve made a lot of progress on that front. My articles from the last year are really examples of me trying to work to that end.

In particular, “6 Ways Relationships Can Quickly Become Unfair” and the one that went out today “Rules for Arguing With Your Partner” might read like things I wrote to hold my partners accountable, but they’re equally, if not more so, about having me be held accountable.
