Well, I didn’t want to use her actual name, and when that’s the case, and I happen to refer to a person by some random trait in a story, I usually just use that as their name going forward. It obviates having to make a formal introduction, and it’s usually a bit humorous, I feel. Also, she read the story and didn’t raise any objection to that.

I agree with all your points! The difference between our generations was what I was hoping to highlight, and how the way we look at love nowadays isn’t the same as previously—and that perhaps that’s not for the best.

We’ve got a lot to learn from y’all!
