This is what happens when you let the enemies of a movement define it. Nobody who considers themselves woke sees it that way, and few of them practice it that way.

Nothing wrong with CRT, as best as I can tell, but acting like general social consciousness and an actual academic field are one in the same is giving too much credit to woke people. One is a simple belief/general awareness, the other is a theory and field of study--we don't all get granted degrees the moment we realize things aren't fair across the board.
