Okay, so I'm going to undertake the study of a complex system as a casual, and then make my own predictions in regards to what a planet's climate is to look like in the decades to come?
The whole point of a complex system is that it has emergent properties, functionally infinite inputs, and a black box effect.
I'm all for heeding warning signs and deferring to scientists, but acting as if 100% certainty can be reached in any of these predictive models is hubris, as is advocating for forming strong opinions on the whole matter as a layperson.
