Let me start by saying thank you so much for your kind words! That’s really lovely what you said. I appreciate it.

I might have to try that software out! Sounds interesting.

I do think it’s perfectly reasonable to find that balance in creating things that are salable and things that one is really inspired to make, but for me, I’ve always just made the distinction on a broader scale. I want one undertaking to make money with, and I want my writing to be entirely free. Functionally, one approach probably leaves the individual with just as much time spent working away from their passion as the other.

At the end of the day, I feel like Google and the dictionary are available, so even if I want to use the word “glazier” in my next article, it’s not as if I’m leaving anyone high and dry. It’s just a matter of effort. And I feel like it’s hard enough to create a piece that’s any good as is, so I’m not going to put limiters on myself. Just going to let it flow as best I can.

Thanks again! It’s a really beautiful, sweet, and thoughtful comment. Made my morning

P.S. As part of the promotion for my books, I’ve started sending copies to established authors/industry insiders when I come across them. Could I send you a copy? I could mail you paperback versions or email you a digital copy, whichever you prefer.
