It's been interesting to get the perspective from gay men on this topic, and the conversations that ensue in the comment sections are an underrated part of the experience of posting on here.

When you tie the different points in history together it starts to make sense. A transition from taboo and prejudice to a place of being more commonplace and even novel, to those outside of the community, begins to piece together some of what I see in the current environment.
