It will! It's strange how our behavioral profile always seem to be the exception to the rule. It makes me feel like we must've done a great deal of violence to our direct, phylogenetic precursors--eliminating everyone in the animal kingdom who was closer in kind to us.

Though maybe a small transition with massive consequence, like being the world's first coctivores, is the reason. That would be a nicer explanation lol

The constant exceptionalism, even in matters of instinctual behavior, does make it pretty obvious why religion and other beliefs regarding our privileged position have always taken hold. We seem so unique when looking at other animals.
