I was telling someone the other day that whenever I feel insecure about my writing someone on Medium messages me to reassure me about that particular insecurity, even though they have no idea that insecurity exists or what their words mean to me. I had been regretting posting this piece because it doesn’t feel very “me” to write one of these how-to-become-successful pieces, but it was an important realization for me, and I learned a lot in the process, so I wanted to share.
