I think that’s very true, and the effect of releasing anger on oneself, as the ultimate feeling of weakness, is something I hadn’t considered, and that I’m very grateful to you for bringing to my attention. I think the real cure for anger is to build one’s power, or sense of their own power, which is to say one’s self-esteem. It is only when we feel insecure that we can be threatened, and that is the initial cause for the emotional response. But, yes, as a second measure, I think an outlet for our frustration is equally important.
