I like AI as an extension of humans, not as a replacement.

For example, it's open a lot of doors for me creatively. I've always loved painting, but just have no natural skill for it. That's never stopped me from painting, and never will, but AI-image generators have allowed me to bring to fruition some of what I always wished I could express in a visual medium.

Song-generating AI has allowed me to turn a lifelong passion into music into another mode of creative expression. For years, I wanted to write songs, but I can't sing, and haven't spent the time to learn an instrument. Moreover, I couldn't convince any singers to work with me, though I asked a few.

Now, I have ten songs on soundcloud. Every lyric written by me, but brought to life by AI. (In case you're curious: https://soundcloud.com/martin-vidal-864059598). The first song I made had me on the verge of tears, so long had I wanted to bring my words to life in that way.

Conversely, the way AI takes away jobs from people, or is used to mass generate bland forms of media over and over again, I'm strongly against. AI makes a great robotic prosthetic. Competing with and being replaced by full-blown robots is another story.
