I agree. I think a lot of current dysfunction comes from our inability to maintain some hallowed ground. For example, politics shouldn't be entertaining.

We can be free, messy, rowdy, what have you, but we need to keep somethings serious. If we can just keep the important logistical stuff in check, like not tampering with science or policy, then I think we'd have a good balance.
