Haha honestly, maybe 3 people I know personally have read my book, or part of it, so I don’t get much feedback on the actual work. First, I was hurt that no one I know personally seemed to really respond to it. Then, I was confused, because people I didn’t know seemed to respond well. Finally, I explored the topic, and shared my thinking above, and now I’m contented with not even showing my writing to the people I know.

I think, if I can receive enough outside acknowledgement and accomplishments, it’ll change the way the people in my personal life look at me, and once they see me as an established writer they’ll have new eyes for my writing. So I just keep typing away lol
