Great article, Dayon! It was interesting for me how your article seemed to hint at the importance of the male gender identity to men being the reason that we seek so fervently to deny it to others. In a two category system, we have a strong sense of belonging, but if we were to make it more inclusive, the starkness of the distinctions would wane, and so we refuse others a sense of belonging lest we risk losing our own.
