Great article, Alecia! I would argue that there is no “before” or “beginning,” but rather that the physical reality is without limitations in space or time, that truly measurements of any sort are really just a construct that can only function within a subjective perspective. It is semantically impossible for there to have been a beginning to existence. If we can turn back the clock of time to a hypothetical first moment of existence, then, we find that there is a necessary implication of something just before that. We can call it “nothingness” or a “void,” but by giving it a name we make it something. One cannot point to, elude to, or imply the existence of non-existence. Just my thoughts. Thanks for sharing!
