Ehh, I don't know. I find the left fringe to be objectively radicalized too. The only thing is that I find that fringe to be less prevalent in actual office. Still, the march to try to making everything "free" for everyone seems to be alive and well.

A Bernie Sanders style bloated government is a slow-death for the country. Almost every government intervention backfires because government is not incentivized to perform efficiently how the private sector is. It cannot fail directly, so nearly everything it does, it does poorly. Thus, it should be involved in as little as possible.

These things seem less radical--and, to be frank, they are less radical than a lot of the insanity on the right--but they signal a death knell nonetheless. It's poison on the far left, and a gun shot to the head on the far right.
