Being “woke” before it became this whole elaborate thing was just being socially conscious. I prefer to view it still in that uncomplicated way. A lot of this other stuff are ugly offshoots from people who are overdoing it, imo. I don’t want the definition to be derived from the worst use cases. I prefer the original meaning.
