I wouldn't call it an emotional connection exactly, but definitely a psychological/intellectual one. A person's personality and physical appearance have to both be something I'm attracted to for me to sleep with them.

And then sexually, I'm a major empath. So all that really does it for me is to know that my partner is satisfied. If I feel like there's not enough chemistry (or whatever else) for me to do that, then I just can't get into it all.
